This hanging installation and compositional study explores maternal lineage, sentimentality, and the unseen through found and collected objects symbolic of the artist’s maternal grandmother. Each piece holds sacred value and is essential to the whole. Suspended in midair, the organic materials are intended to feel both grounding and ethereal at once.
